The main idea was to understand and analyze the test taking methods to enrich online assessment of students. During this time, Professor Cornel mentioned two types of assessment techniques, they were formative and summative.

A formative assessment would provide teachers and students with timely feedback through mastery of course material and learning objectives. This could be done through discussions, blogs, chats, quizzes etc. On the other hand, summative assessment results are used to assign students grades and to make a comprehensive conclusion about the course and learning objectives. Summative could be done using a case study, simulation, animations, reflective journals, project portfolios and presentations.

We, at NUB hope to implement the methods and strategies learned from these seminars and continuously seek to maintain international standard by offering education for innovation and change.
